Engagement X2

In the last few days, two amazing men proposed to two beautiful girls! Two love stories, two unique proposals, and two upcoming weddings this fall! Yipeeee!!! I can't wait. :-) Last night, our dear friend Daniel proposed to his girlfriend Jenny Diamond (appropriate last name, don't ya think?) on the front porch of their future home together. Daniel and Jenny are both wonderful friends and we can't wait for their wedding in late August or early September! A job well done, Daniel! Congratulations Jenny and Daniel, we love you! __________________________________________________________________________ On February 23rd, Austin proposed to Alyssa Anderson at the Olympics in Vancouver! They were there to support Austin's brother-in-law, Chad Hedrick. By the way, I can't take credit for any of their pictures. Sadly, I was not in Vancouver but I sure would have liked to have been. How special. What is also "special" is what happened last weekend at our church's annual Chi Alpha (disciple now) weekend. Austin came in for the weekend much to the delight of the kids in our student ministry and Kyle. In front of the ENITRE student ministry during dinner, Austin somehow got his hands on a megaphone (how?) and told the crowd he had something important to do. In the same fashion with which he proposed to Alyssa, Austin proceeded to get down on one knee in front of Kyle and ask him to be his best man. The rest of us.... speechless. The happy couple is registered at Target if you'd like to purchase a "congratulations" gift. Ok really though, we love you, Austin and Alyssa! October 23rd can't get here fast enough. I just love LOVE. But more than that, I am so excited for these sweet friends that have been seeking out God's will for their love stories....and it is so clear to me how His hand has been all over every detail. Yay love. Yay friends. Yay MARRIAGE. :-)
